The son of a great chef he could not fail to continue the culinary tradition of the family. Because of this and thanks to his great culinary passion Boris Toto began very young to follow in the footsteps of Lorenzo his father, giving new vitality to the flavors of tradition. Boris Toto, after passing his childhood observing and learning the father's culinary skills and to appreciate the value of traditional cooking, began working as a waiter and second chef in the family restaurant. At only 16 years, Boris left Tuscany for a short period to discover Japan, where he worked in two restaurants in Tokyo and Kyoto this was highly appreciated.

He returned to Italy to perform military service where he was second chef in the official canteen of the Corps General Command of the Carabinieri in Rome. When his service was over he became officially the chef in the kitchen of the family. Over the years Boris has also won numerous prizes such as the Chef d'Oro in Rome (in 1995 and 1996) and at the Press Club of Turin, he began to work as a tutor and lectururer at the Academy of Taste Arezzo, all this without ever neglecting his restaurant at Lucignano.
The passion for cooking and for tradition that boris has you can learn : just subscribe to one of the cooking courses for Italians and foreigners , Boris organizes these at the Hotel Osteria da Toto or at home, you can take home recipes with unmistakable taste and seasoned by a great culinary memory, accompanied by a deep love for good things.
